Knitcircus giveaway

jaala, the editor-in-chief of knitcircus magazine, has been generous to let me give away not one, but two copies of the PDF download of the Spring Pattern Collection.

the free magazine, which can be found here, includes reviews, articles, interviews, recipes and pattern previews. the collections are for purchase (for a very reasonable price!) and contain all of the patterns shown. the current issue has an interview with Terri Shea, the author of Selbuvotter: Biography of a Knitting Tradition and a fun article on visiting a sheep farm as well as much more.  the collection itself is full of fun and interesting patterns.  myself, i’m admiring the diamond hat and the seamless slippers.

if you would like to be in the running for this fabulous collection, go check out the patterns and comment on this post with your favorite and who you might possibly make it for.  this give-away will end on sunday at 9 pm.  i’ll random number generate and announce the winners on monday.

  1. I love your hat patterns. However, we have friends who are expecting to be expecting soon. Therefore I love the pattern Baby Beau. Simple beauty for a kid.

  2. I love the Spring Thaw Tee! I would totally knit that for myself! What a cute pattern! I will have to get this collection of patterns myself if I don’t win.

  3. I like the looks of that Spring Thaw Tee. I would probably be knitting it for myself, but my gauge is notoriously not true, so it might end up going to one of my sisters: one is a bit larger than me, one a bit smaller.

  4. Oh, that 4 seasons cardi is super cute. I’m always cold, even in the summer, I’d knit it for myself and have the perfect stylish little sweater for my chilly house. Great magazine. I enjoyed reading it!

  5. I love the hearts of oliva socks and the diamond scarf. i would love to say I’d make them for someone else, but I want them all to myself. Maybe the 2nd knit can be theirs?? :0

  6. The Epalier shawl looks destined for my MIL, and the Diamond Lace Handwarmers want to stay with me. Very nice collection, beautiful and practical too.

  7. What a great collection and giveaway! I really love the Seamless Slippers – I had not seen those before. I can see myself making these for numerous people in the family. I also love the black and white colorwork hat.

  8. i love those hearts for olivia socks! i’ve been feeling very sock-y today–bought some amazing mohair/angora/nylon self-striping sock yarn at the LYS this morning!

  9. With all the babies in my family (not my own) I have been knitting non stop for kids. I would love to make the leaf lace hat or jule toddler dress for my nieces, Zoey and Lucy.

  10. I think I would make my Dad the Dr. Science cardigan. I have been looking for a sweater for him for awhile. I think this may be one he would actually wear.

  12. Jule toddler dress..bias of a mom with little people. Though no little girls, so I’d probably make it for my friends who just had one last week.

  13. Do I have to pick just one? I would make Aynsley socks for me, the Leaf Lace hat for my daughter Sadie, and the Twilight shawl as a belated birthday present for my mom….. Thanks for the opportunity! Happy weekending, Jessica
