2 down, something like 4 more to go! there are a lot of babies due this summer. geesh. maybe in lieu of sweaters, summer babies will get hat and bootie sets. either way, at least i get some reprieve in between.
this turned out so sweet. i couldn’t be more pleased. and it has some of the mama’s favorite color in it, which makes me smile.
pattern: free from drops alpaca – here
needles: size 1.5 addi turbo needles
yarn: mountain colors bearfoot – mill ends from last time i went to the shop and some baby wool? i bought at a thrift store in BC.
the buttons came off of a card of 6 buttons labeled 10 cents. i love how the slipped stitches made this little deckled edge
i’m planning to get this to her soon – cause she’s already almost a month old! the family had an adventurous month, so i’m hoping things will calm so that a big pot of soup and i can come for a visit.
oh wow. that is just about the sweetest ever. *whisper* it makes me want a little girl (dont tell pan)
LOVE this cardigan and want to knit it in my size…i’m gonna have to look at the pattern to see if it’s easily converted. what do you think?
this is my favorite Little Sweater, Cosy. The mother has good taste in color.
That is very cute! Love the green.
That is exactly what a little girl should be wearing – the colors are just wonderful!
whoa, that is the cutest sweater ever!
I love this so much! The color combination is just perfect.
I love this, so sweet :)
Very pretty and stylish for a sweet little girl! Hope they are having a less “adventurous” time of it going forward.
I love this so much…definitely going in my queue!
What a lovely little sweater. It is just the sweetest!
That is absolutely adorable. I love how the colorways work together.
Just lovely! Perfect color combination.
Oh I love this! It might have to be my next baby knit!
LOVE those colors!!!!!!
Cosy, this is so gorgeous. I’ve been eying the pattern and thinking about fun color possibilities for a while and yours is totally inspiring!
Very cute. I really like the shaping. I love the contrast of the two colorways.
That’s an amazing baby sweater. The colors are just too awesome. As more and more babies keep popping into my life, I’m so excited to see our generation veering away from the traditional baby pink/blue/yellow/green clothes. Gack! So boring and Easter egg-ish. Who says babies can’t wear sophisticated colors? :)
Love this pattern!! :) What a lovely knit – And it’s going to such a great home – Yay!

so gorgeous, cosy. i’ve been looking at countless versions of this on ravelry for hours. the pattern is a killer though. i’m not sure i’m gonna be able to swing it, and it seems like i’m the only one who is confused by the translation. i’m gonna try though, cuz i just love it.
