1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
ten years ago i was still in school at the university of montana – undergrad, studying art, english and teaching. i was also working part time at a fabulous independent used and bargain bookstore and somewhere around then i moved out of my parents house and was living with my friends in a old ramshackle house in downtown missoula for dirt cheap rent. it used to be a commune and had a home made 10 toothbrush holder in the bathroom when we moved in. can’t tell you how not insulated that house was and how really really cold it was in the winter. i should have thought more about that before i decided that drawing myself nude in november and december was a good idea.
