i finished up this one specifically for the may market. i figured plant themed would be good. it’s unfortunate that i didn’t have more time to prepare because i didn’t even have any hats with trees on them!
ingredients:
hunter orange thrifted 1970’s pull skein wool
embroidery – inherited wool/alpaca
yellow orange is this, which i’ve been wanting to use ever since i bought it from a downsizing knitter/weaver in my neighborhood.
adult small/medium.
i went for more of a block print look with this one, using less hand dyed and more solid wools. i like the way it turned out… subtle and dramatic all at the same time.
I like it too! I love how you put in that garter stitch row when you do color changes. I like the simplicity of the embroidery too.
I love how sunny and bright this is, it made me smile when I saw it. The embroidery adds a lovely touch to it.
I love the color symmetry and embroidered design. It’s simple and engaging. Beautiful work as usual.
