these are the hats that i feel like making in spring… perhaps because i first made up the pattern in spring. this is my most asked about pattern and i must let it slip, there are several hat patterns in the book based on it.

4 yr old-adult small – smaller and shorter on my size medium head. another of my favorite buttons. i’m totally wanting buttons again now that i’ve been using lots of my faves.
all three of these were made at knitting group on tuesdays. i often finish things up on mondays, and then by tuesday i have nothing on my needles so, working in the morning on something else, i grab yarn and needles when i’m on my way out the door and hope for the best. i’ve been on a handspun kick as of late :)
Love those last two especially. The colors are splendid, as usual. Very spring-like, indeed!
Too cute! I love that button on the last one.
That tundra one is especially sweet; love the contrast of the blue bottom with the lighter colours on top.
ooh, i love the first, and the last. i’m so sad that hat weather seems to have left my area. :(
Those pointy tops are incredibly cute! I love the green on the first one.
Ahhh… my head feels happy just looking at these!
Very groovy hats :)
