May 18, 2011A bottom up cardigan for wee ones with rolled sleeves, tri-colored yoke, and applied i-cord button band.
Yarn: Cosymakes Rainbow Chard or worsted to aran weight yarn that knits to gauge. 165(190, 215, 240, 265/290, 315, 340) yd [150.9(173.7, 196.6, 219.5, 242.3/265.2, 288, 310.9) m] main color (mc), 40(45, 50, 55, 60/65, 70, 75) yd [36.6(41.1, 45.7, 50.3, 54.9/59.4, 64, 68.6) m] of contrast color one (cc1 – bottom color), contrast color two (cc2 – second color up), and contrast color three (cc3 – top color plus i-cord yarn)
Needles: Size 8 US [5 mm] 16-24 in. [40.6-61 cm] circular needles and a set of double-pointed needles in the same size, or whatever size you need to get gauge
Gauge: 4.5 sts/in. [2.5 cm]
Sizes: 3 mo. (6, 12, 18, 24/2, 4, 6), or chest size 16(17, 18, 19, 20/21, 23, 25) in. [48.3(50.8, 53.3, 56, 58.4, 63.5) cm]
