April 6, 2011A simple little garter stitch spring shawl pattern with a little bit of lace border, with notes for a larger lace section and for a larger shawl.
Yarn: 1 skein cosymakes Snapdragon Light Fingering or 700 yd [640 m] of light fingering weight wool
Needles: Size 7 US [4.5 mm] 24 in. [61 cm] circular needle or whatever size you need to get gauge
Gauge: 10.5 sts/2 in. [5.1 cm] in garter stitch
Finished Size: With a little bit of lace edging – approximately 44 in. [111.8 cm] from tip to tip and 15.5 in. [38.4 cm] deep, with a larger lace edging – 48 in. [121.9 cm] by 19 in. [48.3 cm]
