August 25, 2010This sweater, originally designed to be a baptismal sweater, is a kimono style cardigan with slipped cable texturing, straight sleeves with a fish detail, and i-cord finishing.
Needles: Size 4-5 US [3.5-3.75 mm] circular and double-pointed needles (dpns) or whatever size you need to get gauge
Yarn: 350(380, 410, 445, 480) yds [320(348, 375, 407, 440) m] of sport weight yarn
Gauge: 6 sts/in. [2.5 cm], 9 rows/in. [2.5 cm]
Sizes: 3 mo.(6, 12, 18, 24) or chest sizes 16(17, 18, 19, 20) in. [40.6(43.2, 45.7, 48.3, 50.8) cm]
