June 15, 2009a brief shout out for the classes i’m teaching this saturday through the PCC.
Beginning Knitting
Time: 1-3
This class is for those interested in picking up the needles for the first time, or who have some experience but need a little guidance with the basics. We will cover casting stitches on the needles, the knit and purl stitch, and binding off. If you feel you have a general grasp on these techniques we can cover how to read your knitting and methods to fix common mistakes.
Beyond Beginning Knitting
Time: 3-5
This class is for those who already know the knitting basics, but want help starting the next project, to learn more advanced techniques (increasing, decreasing, lace, cables, socks etc.), or to get help with a current project.
