I agree. I love the malabrigo I used for my Wicked, but I'm not sure how much I love the fabric it produced. It's sort of saggy, and pills if you look at it funny. The rough and tumble woolliness of Jamieson's, though, I will love forever.

I do love me some Malabrigo. I've got a sweater started from it that is not going quickly (kind of boring ribbed pattern that will eventually turn into a favorite sweater, I'm thinking, if I ever get it done LOL)but every time I work on it I sigh at its softness. My only hesitation is that I know it will pill as my softie-soft alpaca sweater, that I made last fall, is doing. I made mitts and a scarf for myself from some Malabrigo this winter...the scarf is holding up wonderfully and is a joy to wrap my neck in...the mitts? Quite pilled in places, but, hey...they still function, and I do love them. Malabrigo is definitely not a good-for-everything fiber, but it has it's place in my heart, and my God, the COLORING...yum...

Love the tam! :)
