same sock and needles

different day. today i headed to school to knit, like i do every thursday. i hate being an artist in a box and that way i’m open to be knit with, chat with, to help people with knitting problems, or to teach. anyhow, when i arrived at school and took the lithuanian socks out of my bag to finish my second sock, my needle was sharp, but not in a good way.
i don’t even understand how this could have happened. it wasn’t even the same needle with the cat bite in it. it seemed so sudden… now, i’m trying to figure out if i can replace my brittany’s with anything else and still get the same gauge (i don’t think they sell brittany’s in canada). i’m skeptical. i may have to wait until we take a trip to the states in february and buy some new ones. ah well. you can look forward to this project later.
